A lot has happened since our last blog post! Here’s a quick rundown.

New checks

We’ve added checks for Software Updates. These track installed apps that could potentially be an attack vector and let you know when they’re outdated. MacOS version check was also added.

WiFi check lets you know when your connection is unsecure. When that happens, VPN use is highly recommended.

For developers, SSH strength and encryption are now regularly checked as well.

There were a lot of other minor updates and additions to checks. Check out everything on our Security Checks page.

Teams and Business plan updates

We’re in talks with clients that require Pareto Security on a larger scale. As a result of this, we’ve improved our dashboard for Teams and Businesses and are working with our users to hit their requirements.

Pareto Security covered on mainstream Apple and tech news sites

We’re excited to share that we’ve been covered by some great news sites like TechRadar, iMore, 9to5Mac, and non-English sites like Macwelt, Maclife, MacFreak and so many more.

You can read more about the coverage on our Press page.
