What

This check verifies that macOS and specific apps installed on your Mac are up-to-date. These are potential attack vectors and it's strongly recommended they're always up-to-date.

A few minutes.

How to fix

Open the App Store and in the sidebar, click Updates.
Click Update next to an app to update only that app, or click Update All.
For all other apps, open them, and click Check for Updates in the menu bar.

Currently, the below 21 apps are checked for updates.
